Privacy Policy
Who we are
Harpen Tech (harpentech.com) is a digital studio that builds websites, growth systems, and custom software for local businesses. This policy covers our marketing site, client dashboard, and the booking product we operate. For anything about this policy, email us at support@harpentech.com.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- What you give us directly. Your name, email, phone number, and message when you fill out our contact form or book a call. Your name, email, and password (or your Google profile, if you sign in with Google) when you create a client dashboard account. Business details, assets, and project notes you submit during onboarding. If you book an appointment through a booking page powered by Harpen Tech, the name, email, and appointment details you enter for that booking.
- What we collect automatically. Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability. Once analytics tools are switched on for a given site, aggregate usage data through cookies as described below.
- What our service providers collect on our behalf. Authentication and account data through Firebase (Google Cloud). Payment details, when payments are involved, are handled directly by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice itself. These are required for the site and dashboard to work. On some pages we may also use optional analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use our site; these only load if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and deliver the services you ask for.
- Create and manage your client dashboard account and its content.
- Process and confirm bookings, and send related reminders.
- Keep our site and dashboard secure and working correctly.
- Understand how our site is used, where analytics are enabled.
We do not sell your personal information, to anyone, for any reason.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Harpen Tech, and only as needed for them to do that job:
- Firebase / Google Cloud, for authentication, our database, and file storage.
- Vercel, who hosts this website.
- Brevo, who sends transactional email such as booking confirmations and reminders.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile), to tell real visitors apart from bots on forms and the booking widget.
- Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor for paid plans and products, once a purchase involves payment.
- Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, only on pages and sites where these are explicitly enabled, and only after cookie consent.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Harpen Tech, our clients, or others.
How long we keep it
We keep account and project information for as long as your account is active, and contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to export it, by emailing support@harpentech.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a client dashboard account, you can also update most of your own information directly from your account settings.
Children's privacy
Harpen Tech's services are intended for business owners and their representatives. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let existing clients know directly.
